Savage Husker
With the lawsuits being pushed by the Nebraska players and now Neb. AG, there has to be a dialogue between the parties to drop the cases, no? Or would that not hold up? Quote Link to comment

Toe
Apparently the PAC-12's most aggressive time table is to resume in mid-November? Would probably end up being Thanksgiving weekend. "Schools in the states of California and Oregon still have not been cleared by public health officials to resume contact practices, let alone games." https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/29886729/mid-late-november-most-aggressive-return-target-date-pac-12-source-says Quote Link to comment

If the weather holds up, facing teams outside would be nice. I think. 1 Quote Link to comment

For example NJ has some of the worst Covid stats in the world. Something could go wrong in NJ or the state gov could effectively forbid it. So why should Rutgers be forced to play football with the midwestern teams who aren't in the same boat? And really, I think your conference can last one football season without them. I think we could last every season without them 1 Quote Link to comment

Unless one of those big 10 teams lives somewhere with big covid numbers, it shouldn’t be that hard to setup a replacement non con game with testing procedures to match big 10 requirements. If they want to require everyone move forward then fine. You can opt out of every game but it gets logged as a forfeit and you lose your tv revenue share for that game 1 Quote Link to comment
Bledred
Would not surprise me one bit if this actually came to be... Big Ten has "randomly" selected the follow 8 game 2020 schedule for the Nebraska Cornhuskers to start in mid October: @Penn State @Wisconsin Iowa @Michigan Ohio State Michigan State @Northwestern Minnesota 2 Quote Link to comment
MyBloodIsRed16
lets say Rutgers team plane crashed on the way to their first game of a normal season. Does the rest of the Big 10 stop playing? I don't think they do. That would be a tragedy and way worse than a few kids getting covid and having to sit out 14 days. The all or none approach is stupid and I feel its just a way to not have a season. 2 Quote Link to comment

BIG ERN
Sh*t or get off the pot B10...no one cares about playing by ourselves in November. I would never waste a year of eligibility to do so. Lets get this thing going Oct 17 2 Quote Link to comment
Huskers93-97
Curious question for Desmond Howard, if Michigan opts out of season. Should the big 10 be looking for a way to get them out? 4 5 Quote Link to comment

BigRedBuster
If it's all teams play or no teams play, and they are serious about starting either in October or November, why wouldn't they release schedules? If it's conference games only and all teams would be playing, there's no reason not to set up the schedules so everyone knows what to expect....when/if they ever do play. Quote Link to comment
