Question: B1G, are you going to play football this fall?   B1G:

The original goal was to “flatten the curve” or so we were told. Somewhere we shifted to cancel everything until it is gone or a vaccine is found.

The NCAA doesn't have anything to do with the CFB playoffs. Just an FYI. But still a valid question as to how the playoffs will be handled.

Yes I knew that but regardless it's all still connected and with the Big starting later, the Pac with no starting date as of today and with the other P5's up and running it's going to be real interesting to see how the playoffs are handled from just a date and place too for that matter perspective.

Exactly. Isn't CDC guidelines for the common folk now down to ten days?...

Maybe the Big Ten is trying to enforce a "bubble" mentality among the players without having to officially have programs create formal bubbles for the players?

BIG 10 f#&%s up again. Double the timeline of medical experts for isolation. Plus starting on the 24th gives you no room for error. No time to make up a game if you miss one.

Note that a positive test is not the same thing as a positive diagnosis.

The 21 day waiting period is to test for cardiovascular damage/inflammation.

Some crap rules like this & community spread are probably the only reason why big ten football is even back.

Just like a stoplight....green, orange, and red.  With Red/Red or Go/Big/Red meaning a team must stop regular practice and competition for a minimum of seven days and reassess metrics until improved.

"Eventually all Big Ten sports will require testing protocols before they can resume competition. Updates regarding fall sports other than football, as well as winter sports that begin in the fall including men’s and women’s basketball, men’s ice hockey, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, and wrestling, will be announced shortly."

So it looks like ALL sports are back on the table.  Good!
