seaofred92
https://basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/three-point-play-howard-s-wild-debut-john-camden-s-suitors Quote One of the top names throughout the Philadelphia area for the past few years, Camden’s stock has taken off this spring despite not having a travel circuit to compete on. Within the past 10 days, he's gotten offers from Indiana, Nebraska, TCU, Texas A&M and Wake Forest, which join a collection of others that includes Florida, Miami, Penn State, Syracuse, Temple, and Virginia Tech. Memphis has expressed great interest in him and North Carolina made its initial contact with him earlier in the month. Camden has yet to take an official visit and due to the pandemic, chances are likely that he will not only hold off from committing in the fall, but rather keep his recruitment open throughout the winter leading to a late signing next April. 1 Quote Link to comment

Kind of bizarre no major local programs outside of Temple and Penn State have been involved here. He's just outside of Philly- no Maryland/Rutgers/Georgetown/St Johns/Pitt/Villanova/WVU? seaofred92
7:00pm ET commitment time for Camden on Wednesday. Looks like Memphis is the team to beat here. Quote Link to comment

Yeah man. He’s already proving to be in the elite of the elite on the trail. Getting Cisse after it was basically guaranteed to go to Auburn was an unreal get. And he had Jalen Green in the bag until the G-League came at the last second. Going to go into STL tomorrow and get Nesbitt too. Makes it even harder for us to make inroads there. Penny was always going to get the elite 5* types’ attention because of who he is but now that he’s also focused on 4* multi-year players to supplement those guys on their roster... look out. Nesbitt was the Billikins to lose...then Illinois had him up until about 12 hours ago. Penny knows how to "get'" guys... And if you are stealing guys from Auburn you KNOW how to pay the price...because Bruce Pearl is one of the best. 2 Quote Link to comment

Auburn wasn’t even in Cisse’s top 6, it was LSU. And Memphis missed on most of their top targets last year and this year(Greg Brown, Jalen Green, Chet Holmgren, JD Davidson). But otherwise I agree with you. Quote Link to comment

Sorry you’re correct I was mis-remembering between Green and Cisse. It was LSU I was thinking of for Cisse and Auburn was the trendy pick for Green: https://www.aseaofblue.com/2020/5/27/21272025/moussa-cisse-lsu-tigers-news-uk-basketball-recruiting-florida-state-noles I can’t even count Green as a “miss”. He publicly came out saying he would’ve chosen Memphis if the G League didn’t come in at the 48th hour and offer $500k. Nobody saw that coming. Greg Brown they missed on but backed off the last few months when it was somewhat obvious he was going to Texas. Quote Link to comment
