Both from what he tells me. In my experience with the adidas, I'm always more concerned about the knit materials on the top rather than anything on the sole area. But I also would not be dropping $180 on any shoe whatsoever #ClearanceRack4Life

I've worn my 2 pairs of ultraboosts into the ground, I own way to many pairs of shoes and usually wear my boosts everyday, easily get over a year and a half of wear on them before I start to wear the outsole off. I'll second that they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Yet to have an Issue with the flyknit material tearing.

The Boost shoes I had felt like walking on marshmallows when they were new, but after they had a little wear on them they felt about like any other shoes. :dunno My current shoes are from their Bounce family (Alphabounce Beyond, to be exact).
