Cally, Riley and Frost were unanimous, but Bo was really divided IMHO. I was kinda shocked to read all the Facebook comments from people who were upset that Trev Alberts fired Scott Frost. Usually about Frost trying his best and deserving our loyalty and/or how bad it looked that we kept firing coaches. They appeared to be Husker fans but they didn't seem to understand college football very well. But yeah, close to zero folks wanting to retain Callahan and Riley. 1 Quote Link to comment

Huskerboard game threads I couldn't bring myself to visit the HB Gameday Thread or the various Aftermath Threads, because I knew the takes would be hot and stupid and make me sad. Foolishly I clicked on one just yesterday and there were folks suggesting Marcus Satterfield once again got too cute by calling a pass play on 3rd and three. I walked away from the Illinois game far more concerned about our easily exploited defense and Tony White's failure to make adjustments. But for years now the go-to finger-pointing is at the OC who foolishly calls a pass play. The same pass play virtually every coach in football might call. 1 3 Quote Link to comment

Huskerboard game threads I have come to enjoy many of these over the years. I now imagine the posts/articles as screamed by a toddler rolling around on the floor throwing a fit. It makes much of the idiocy amusing rather than depressing. 1 Quote Link to comment
