Maurice Washington not being here is is the biggest loss, talent wise, to the program in a generation (20 yrs)    Losing him and his skills is more than double the loss of Spielman and Robin

I'd go so far as to say that with Washington here, Wandale is still a Husker. We wouldn't have needed to run him between the tackles.

When he finally stops half way up the slope behind the end zone, a roughly 10-year-old Mavric is about 30 feet right of the view of the camera.  Wrapped up in blankets because it was a cold day in Bou

are there inactive teams that can say they are in the 900 win club??

Looks like Yale is the only other school in the 900-win club.  So I suppose everyone was in the same "division" before there really were divisions.  But they wouldn't be "active FBS" anymore.

However you have to ignore us not punching it into the end zone on that last drive with a goal line formation...something Scott mentioned he regretted in the post-game interview.

Anyway, Adrian ran the zone read pretty much to perfection on a bunch of plays. The quick swing passes got called at the right moments when they were cheating inside to stop the run...just want to see this all season long:

And if you can stomach the entire video, it's a good showcase of why I think our special teams were the worst aspect of the team throughout last season.

A tribute to Tom.    In the article below, Sip interviews Mike Osborne.  It is sad as one reads his words that many young, even in their church, don't really know who Tom is and what he accomplished.  They have a vague sense that he is special but at what?   Such is the state of Nebraska football.
