Mavric
The part where only one of these took place in the 1900s is pretty impressive. 1 Quote Link to comment

Alabama played 75 games in its stretch. Nebraska played 63. We’ll keep seeing more as they keep playing more. Would be curious how many games the averages team played in the mid 1900s. 1 Quote Link to comment

Also impressive is the number of games. I would imagine if the Huskers played 12 regular season games, conf title game, and playoff... they probably would have had 70 wins instead Quote Link to comment

It used to be a standard 11 game regular season and then a bowl game. Then you add a 12th regular season game, then a conference championship (13), then now an extra 'bowl' game in the form of the playoffs and the dominant teams are playing 15 game seasons compared to 12. Lorewarn
Apparently we're getting new turf this season. Same design all around except no more alternating greens. That'll be the first design change to the turf since 2005. Quote Link to comment
Mavric
I didn't remember this being the first TD of the Mike Riley era. Quite the start. Unfortunately it was mostly downhill from there. 1 Quote Link to comment

But maybe the more traditional look is cheaper 1 Quote Link to comment
