Isn't there supposed to be some well regulated militia to stop things like this from happening? How many videos of police abusing peaceful protesters have to come out for a governor to have l the balls to send these s#!t cops home. 

 

Why cant the governors and mayors meet and organize with the protesters give them a safe route to protest under the protection of the national guard maybe with a small state police presence to arrest any people there who are looking to only loot.

 

Maybe this is already happening in some places but the footage coming out every day of people being brutally attacked by police is f#&%ed.

To BRI's point a few days back. We are going to lose LEOs (some good and some bad) from this. This is a reckoning for law enforcement that people have had enough of their perceived tactics. It's going to suck for awhile for everyone, especially the good cops that we all know, but I think in the long run we're all of us going to be better off because of it.

 

As long as those in power pay attention and make intelligent and informed decisions.

So we have a BLM rally on one side of the street - shouting "Black Lives Matter".  Across the street was a 2nd amendment rights group - shouting "All Lives Matter".  The 2 groups end up talking to each - in the end giving hugs and gaining understanding.

Then what shows up:

2 guys wearing KKK hoods and carrrying a Trump flag.  Both of the above groups chase those cockroaches away.

Tulsa is just now coming to a full awareness of what occurred 99 years ago last weekend.    This past year, officials started to look for mass graves. For decades the Race Massacre was kept under wraps and wasn't even mentioned in Oklahoma history books.  Having moved to Tulsa from SD, we knew nothing of it until the past decade or so.    While Tulsa isn't the same city it was then, we don't need Trump coming here to stir things up.   It is no honor to host this president.   There is a good chance the meeting will be held outdoors at The Gathering Place
