Yeah, everything about that was strange. Including the fact that he shot/killed a guy who approached him carrying bear spray...?

Seem like a lot of unknown information.

Not a great guy though:

According to Baker County District Attorney Greg Baxter, based on a police probable cause statement, Reinoehl was accused of driving his vehicle over 100 mph while racing his 17-year-old-son, who was driving another car. Reinoehl appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance and had his 11-year-old daughter with him in his car, the statement said. Police say they found a concealed firearm in his car but that he didn’t have a concealed carry permit, Baxter said.

This sounds like a reasonably typical weekend night in my neighborhood growing up (minus having an 11-year-old kid).

As long as there continues to be a lack of reform and injustice...protest will continue.

Just because people are tired of it or want to frame it as something it's not doesn't change why people are still doing it.

Yeah it does.

Protesting, go for it, 100% of the time, speak your mind and march.

Breaking windows of a comic book store because it happens to be the window closest to you at the time...that is not about reform or injustice.

Unless you are a Marvel guy and the place only sells DC.

I didn't say all protests need to stop.  However, there are some that it's becoming clear that their only purpose is to create the most disruption and destruction with no clear goal.

That helps nobody.

@ZRod probably hit it on the head.  Maybe the problem is that there isn't a clear leader of these protests.  So, everyone is just out doing whatever they want....and some are more into destruction than actually making social change.

Let me ask you this.  What are the top three bullet points that the protesters in Portland want that would make them go home and stop destroying the city?
