Surprised to read this on CNN. Top story no less.

https://www.cnn.com/2022/09/25/us/minneapolis-crime-defund-invs/index.html

“Once nicknamed ‘Murderapolis,’ the city that became the center of the ‘Defund the Police’ movement is grappling with heightened violent crime“

There were a lot of posters that thought defunding and in some cases even getting rid of cops was a brilliant idea.  It is why it is so hard to take political posts seriously.

Man, it seems like yesterday you were saying we should trust law enforcement decisions…

freaking laughable

Lets also not gloss over the fact that he is accused of assaulting the man twice.  And the man was 72 years old.

Seems like.   But it isn’t the same situation now is it?   Nope.

Earlier we discussed a PROSECUTOR saying there wasn’t evidence to prosecute.  We weren’t actually saying we didn’t trust them now were we?  Nope.

We could also not gloss over the civil case was dismissed.   Not that the 72 yr old was going after a kid:dunno   But wait you actually did gloss over that.

I’d try reading this if I were you.  Relying on obviously biased Tweets is not something I’d recommend if you wish to be taken seriously.

It seems like you may be conflating multiple different events…

According to LifeSiteNews, Houck’s wife saidthe person she was referencing “tried to sue” her husband but that the case was tossed out of court.  Law&Crime was not able to easily find a record of such a lawsuit in federal court in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania or in a Unified Judicial System of Pennsylvania online portal which contains state-level cases from around the commonwealth.  It is possible the action may have been filed in a local court whose docket does not appear on the statewide portal or that the matter was expunged. local court whose docket does not appear on the statewide portal or that the matter was expunged.
