Fresh Bolillos:

 

2 Cups Warm Water
1 Package Yeast
4 Cups Flour-(More If Too Sticky)
1 Tsp. Sugar
2 Tsp. Salt

 

***Used mixer for this recipe.

 

Pour water in bowl add yeast let bloom.

 

Mix flour, salt and sugar together. 

 

Slowly add flour mixture to water and yeast mixture until dough ball forms. 

 

Place in oiled bowl to rise for one hour covered. Punch down and knead for 10 minutes, form loaves, place on sheet pan cover and let rise again for 30 minutes. 

 

Cut slits on top of loaves, brush with water or eggs whites-(used water and bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until brown.
