Mississippi Comeback Sauce/Pics

Recommended Posts

I like to keep Mason Jars in the house and empty salad dressing containers. I use them for many things, dressings for one!

I made this just now but, I added a tablespoon of cayenne and a tablespoon of Tabasco Sauce and added some more diced onions.  I tasted it and I wanted it more spicy!

Some suggestions to serve it:

Serve it with seafood, salad dressing, fish tacos, burgers, dip for chicken wings/strips, Tartar Sauce.

Mississippi Comeback Sauce:

Make this a day ahead of time and refrigerate overnight for the best flavor.

***If using for a salad dressing, add up to 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil.

Add heat to the sauce with a few teaspoons of Sirach Sauce, Tabasco Sauce, Cayenne Or 1-2 teaspoons of Sambol-(Asian Chili Paste.)

If you don’t care for raw garlic, use 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder.

Ingredients:

1 Cup Mayonnaise
1/4 Cup Chili Sauce
1/4 Cup Ketchup
1 Tsp. Prepared Spicy Brown Mustard Or Creole Mustard
1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
1 Tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tsp. Black Pepper
 2T. Minced Onions
2 Cloves Garlic, Finely Minced Or 1 Tsp. Garlic Powder

In mixing bowl, add all of the ingredients and mix well to combine.

Put the sauce in a jar, desk the jar with a screwcap lid.

Refrigerate overnight.

***Refrigerate any leftover sauce.  If using raw garlic, use within 2 days.  If using Garlic Powder, use within 6 days.

***Add heat to the sauce with a few teaspoons of Siracha Sauce, Tabasco Sauce, Cayenne, Or 1-2 Tsp. Sambal-(Asian Chili Paste.)
