He won’t need to pack, he still hasn’t moved from his home in Minneapolis to the big 10 offices in Chicago. He’s had since what january to move?

So is he committed to running the big10 or is this just a temporary gig until the nfl taps him in as their big minority splash hire?

This is eerily like mike Riley setting up shop in a hotel for a year, then a fully furnished apartment. Not a good look for warren

Speaking of something not being a good look...you should probably get off the "minority splash hire" thing that you have mentioned multiple times now. Him being a minority has nothing to do with his performance, and continually bringing it up is a bad look for you.

Looks like warren may very well be the villain here. According to this article, “warren convinced others and railroaded his decision to cancel the season”

There was no vote, there was a discussion where warren convinced others of his position to close the season and then didn’t even take a vote.  I was very willing to give him a pass on the decision, but not the proccess or the public relations. But this changes everything

I thought he was just supposed to be a ballot counter and mouthpiece??

Doesn’t look good for this guy and it will look worse when the college kids protest at the big 10 offices while warren is sitting at home in Minneapolis.

So let me get this straight, kids leave their homes many times thousand plus miles to go play college football. They sign to play in February and usually move in June or July. But warren took this job 8 months ago and he couldn’t move what 300 miles? He’s going to commute ? Wow that’s commitment right there

What is a deliberate process in which we made a decision?  A decision for what?  Sounds to me that the presidents thought that spring football would be a good substitution, without getting any input from their athletic departments.  I guess they didn't consider injuries, seasons too close together, frigid winters, other sports, etc... AND WHY WOULD THEY?  That is out of their scope.

The report from the meeting was that Kevin warren was convincing and railroading the members for a cancelled fall season which happened.

Who other than Warren Would have proposed a Spring season, let alone convince others that it was a good idea?

In the absence of sports we're turning to conspiracy theories now?

This is going to be a fantastic off season.

If the report is true -and the source looks to be very credible, it clearly states Warren was advocating for and railroading the schools to cancel the season.

What is your response to that? You were pushing that warren was only collecting the ballots. That report completely blows your contention out of the water.

The source appears credible? Who's this source? Have you heard of this person before?

He actually wrote a highly rated book about Nebraska football with Tom Osborne writing the foreward for him.  I’m guessing coach doesn’t do that for any schlub.

He also wrote 14 books including 4 about Ohio state football. He co-wrote frank beemers autobiography. Seems to have some good credibility.

He went to Ohio state and is an insider there. Pretty credible guy and everything he had reported checks out as more info keeps coming out.

Is it really that unthinkable with what we know about Kevin warren, that he didn’t totally botch this ?

He's no more credible than Chip Brown, who has had some spectacular fails with his "insider" info.

And what do we "know about Warren" now?

I am starting to think that knapplc may actually BE Kevin Warren somehow.  At the end of the day, it doesn't really much matter how much he had to do with the decision or not. He will be the fall guy if it goes bad.

We know that sandy Barbour from penn state and Joan gabel from Minnesota were at the meeting and both state no vote was taken.

Several sources including cbs sports state that warren had a “heavy influence” on the decision.

We know the protocols and detailed processes for carrying on a fall season weren’t fully developed.

We know a faulty and totally disproven study was the primary medical document used to determine play was not safe.

We know warren gave us a new fall schedule than A week later cancelled the season.

We know warren has yet to spell out in great detail how the spring season will look

warren presided over a decision that would require our kids to play 2 seasons in 10 months, when player safety was the original reason for cancelling.

we know he’s been putting a bunch of time and effort on get out the vote and making players aware of political stances of candidates.

Warren has yet to move to Chicago and has been totally MIA for last 7 days to the press

When questioned by the press was very ambiguous and not transparent

He was not very successful as the coo of the Vikings, lots of people there happy to see him go
