This seems like you're back to a normal feeling before this season. Yes, I'd 100% rather feel this way than what I was feeling with no football hope, ha. Quote Link to comment
Popular Post teachercd
10/24 - Purdue (Lincoln): Purdue sucks, this will be an easy win. 10/31 - Northwestern (Evanston): They are going to be horrible 11/7 - Illinois (Lincoln): Last year was their year, downhill now. 11/14 - Ohio State (Columbus). Super loaded, big L 11/21 - Penn State (Lincoln). Not as impressed with PSU as others but still a L 11/28 - Iowa (Lincoln) **11/27**. They are not good. 12/5 - Wisconsin (Madison). Nothing special and home games don't matter this year 12/12 - Minnesota (Lincoln): Not a good team. Super lucky though! 3 losses max. 7 1 3 Quote Link to comment

Comish
Would love to OPEN vs Iowa. New QB for them vs pent-up frustrations and desire for the Huskers. Plus, all the off -season reporting suggests HCSF has put us in excellent position right out of the gate. Quote Link to comment

Yeah...but doesn't the homer pre-season reporting always suggest we're in an excellent position? 2 2 Quote Link to comment

GSG
FAKE "leaked" Squawkeye schedule and Wisconsin's: Quote While the shortened schedule means nearly all games will be with division opponents, the schedule-makers did the Hawkeyes no favors. Here’s a look at the leaked 2020 Iowa football schedule: October 24th - Illinois October 31st - @Northwestern November 7th - Purdue November 14th - Nebraska November 20th (Friday) - @Minnesota November 28th - Penn State December 5th - @Ohio State December 12th - @Wisconsin. But perhaps the most frustrating thing is how Iowa’s schedule stacks up to division rival Wisconsin. Take a look: October 24th - Maryland October 31st - @Purdue November 7th - @Illinois November 14th - Minnesota November 21st - @Northwestern November 28th - Nebraska December 5th - @Rutgers December 12th - Iowa https://www.blackheartgoldpants.com/2020/9/16/21439047/iowa-hawkeye-football-big-ten-blasts-iowa-in-revised-schedule-wisconsin-badgers-fake-news-story-bhgp 1 Quote Link to comment
knapplc
So, the fake Wisconsin schedule aside, they're complaining that they have to play Penn State and Ohio State in the same year? Have they never looked at our schedules? 1 1 Quote Link to comment

We have about two weeks till practice starts. What the sports media needs to do is at that point, talk football. I don't want to be into the second week in September and still talking about the COVID delay. It happened. It sucked. So much of it was stupid. But...it happened. Let's get over it and start talking about football the way it normally is...about players, schemes, potential starters, when the blackshirts are going to be handed out, what's happening with the teams on our schedules...etc. I'm just so sick of all of this. We need normal football reporting and talk. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

I don't think there's enough player development on the offensive line to expect a lot - but I think we'll be on Iowa's level. And as I said above it's really hard for me to tell how much drop-off or no drop-off Minnesota will have so I have no idea what to expect out of that game. But, they were way better than us last season. Quote Link to comment

Hoping to get to a .500 season no matter how many games we end up playing or who they are against. 1 Quote Link to comment

Always a game with Northwestern. Wisconsin and Iowa own us in our recent history. Possibility of dropping a game we shouldn’t is always likely. I can’t stand the bald guy in Minnesota, but he should get credit. i hope you’re right, but it’s time to get something accomplished on the field. we are also going to get one, possibly two games, called for Covid. I think some of the B1G leaders (losers) want this. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
