I went to the doctor who specializes in this field. My ankle is really swollen from the metal plates and screws that are in it from the car accident I was in.  He recommended ankle fusion surgery and I said I would think about it.  It’s not getting any better, it’s getting worse.  Has anyone ever had this surgery?  If so, what can  you tell me about it?  Thx for any help!
