Roxy15
I am going to make this, it sounds good! I would put it in a crockpot on warm setting. I would think if you made a big batch, put some apples on a stick, twirl the apple so it’s covered and then dip it in a bowl with chopped nuts and twirl to cover the apple so the apple is covered with nuts; or just use sliced apples. Caramel Sauce: Try adding a tablespoon to coffee or on ice cream, or for dipping apples. 1 Cup Light Brown Sugar 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream 4 T. Butter Pinch Of Sea Salt 1 T. Vanilla Extract Melt butter in pot; mix in brown sugar, Heavy Cream and salt. Cook over medium-low heat and whisk gently, for about 7 minutes or longer if you doubled. Remove the pot from the heat; add vanilla and return to cook for another minute or so to thicken a bit more. Take pot off stove. Pour caramel sauce in a jar; refrigerate. Quote Link to comment
