Pains me to say that because I loved me some Pablo Sanchez, but Pete was the fastest dude in the game. Give him the ball on Sweepers and rack up the TDs. Hopefully I am not the only one here in my age bracket and somebody else remembers. Quote Link to comment

His best phrase was always, "I'm gonna hit me a touchdown!" 1 Quote Link to comment

Although not sure we do custom edits for preferred walk-ons. Quote Link to comment
spurs1990
Did we pick the wrong in-state QB? Payton seems like he'd have been a hell of a pick up. Quote Link to comment

Imagine if Haarberg was on that team. They would do just as well. Payton is physically superior to anyone he plays at this level. In college he will not be. Haarberg is a QB while Payton is an athlete playing QB. Quote Link to comment

Given NDSU's track record with QB's we either got out recruited or took the wrong QB. Quote Link to comment
seaofred92
Regardless- he’s a heck of an athlete and we need those types of kids at NU. Quote Link to comment

We haven’t seen Smothers yet but nothing about Luke’s passing performance the last two games suggests to me he should be playing QB Quote Link to comment
