The Twitter dump by Musk turned out to be akin to Geraldo Rivera opening Al Capone's valve.  There was no government censorship on Twitter and thus no violation of the first amendment unless it came from the Trump administration.  Biden was not in office at the time.  So what the right-wing is all foaming at the mouth about has nothing to do with this thread.  It's just more deflection and gaslighting.    

 

It's telling though that this is their obsession when a their Leader is continuing his efforts to overthrow our democracy and terminate the Constitution.  Priorities I guess.

So, MAGATs are upset that Twitter didn't show Hunter Biden's d!(k pics because showing them would have helped Trump win.  And....they think Twitter should have shown the d!(k pics to help Trump win...even though they have pornographic rules that they would have violated.

 

And, MAGATs think this is some deep state liberal conspiracy against them?

Yes.  Nothing that I've seen has shown Twitter "in the tank" as another poster claimed.  Also, nothing came out of the Twitter dump that hasn't been known for over a year.  Musk was blowing smoke.

Just as a technical aside... pornographic material is not actually against twitter's ToS (current or past afaik), but posting stuff like that without consent of the person categorically is. 

 

 

But, yes. In terms of censorship, the two points of criticism are that A. twitter obliged Biden's campaign's requests to not allow Hunter's nudes to be posted (as well as obliging the White House/Trump in similar ways) and that B. twitter stopped the sharing of the NYP story about the laptop due to a policy of not allowing info acquired via hacking to be distributed.

Schiff and Congress should stay out of it.  If it is that bad, Apple, Google, and all the reputable advertisers will take care of the problem.

 

Dems need to let failures fail on their own.  That way, the mouth-breathers only have themselves to blame and they can't play the "victim card".

The mobile access just doesn't work well anymore.

 

Apple and Google certainly have a coordinated ability to put people out of business. I heard Musk will just make his own phones. Actually, an alternative to Google play would probably be enough to stay afloat. 

 

On a more interesting note, I read that the Chinese protestors were using an Apple App to communicate, and Apple kindly shut it down with a phone update at the request of the Chinese Gov. Anyone know if that is true?
