What did we learn? OSU edition.

I'm very concerned about the DB's. That kind of soft coverage allowed Ohio State to pick Nebraska apart. Roll left. Wide open receiver. Roll right. Wide open receiver. Drop back. Wide open receiver. Mertz threw 17 straight completions last night and Nebraska plays him next week with 2 less DB's for at least part of it. So that should be fun.

Targeting is ruining the game. Kicking kids out of a game for a borderline call is stupid and it is changing the outcome of some games as well as the following game.

Nebraska was a lot more physical this year. They need to be able to throw the ball down the field.

If Ohio State can't find a RB that can run the ball, they aren't going to win a NC. The freshman WRs are going to be very good.

If you watched that first half after the last 3 years and you don't think Nebraska is getting better you need to just stop watching for sure.

If you are stupid enough to just look at the score and not watch the game you probably think the 2020 Huskers are the same version of 2019

Last year, we never intended to win the game

If you think they are getting better then you must be taking some good drugs when watching the games.

Nebraska just played a team with a legit case for the #1 ranking. This is an awful take.

Let Nebraska get punched in the face and they hold up like a wet paper bag.   Probably an over reaction but there should be little faith this team isnt a 3 win team this year and a .400 .500 with the original schedule.

I completely agree. The fact that NFL doesn't even have targeting tells us plenty. For the NFL it's just a 15-yard personal foul with no ejection.

Heck, have these Big 10 rule makers watch some NHL players get brutally yet legally crosschecked into the boards game after game, to point out how worthless the Big 10 targeting rules are.
