Roxy15
I made meatloaf, baked potatoes and Lima Beans for dinner last night. This is my favorite meatloaf recipe. I made one pan without sauce and one pan with sauce. Meatloaf: 1-1/2 lbs. Lean Ground Beef 1 Pkg. Jimmy Dean Hot Sausage 1 Cup Milk 6 White Bread Slices, Torn 4 Eggs, Beaten ***I Just Put Them In A Bowl & Whisked Them Diced White Onions, To Taste 2 Full Heads Of Garlic, Chopped Fine-(Not Individual Cloves), Or To Taste 1 Pkg. Celery, Sliced Thin 3 Pkg.s Meatloaf Seasoning Garlic Salt, To Taste Pepper, To Taste 1-(5-oz.)-Container Lucerne Dairy Farms Grated Parmesan Cheese Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Tear the bread slices in a large bowl; pour the milk over the bread and let soak for 5 minutes. In the same bowl, add the ground beef, sausage, onions, garlic, celery, Meatloaf Seasoning and Grated Parmesan Cheese.; mix with a kitchen tool or mix with clean hands. Sprinkle some garlic salt and pepper in; mix. Sprinkle with some more garlic salt and pepper; mix. Put in a baking dish and spread meatloaf sauce on top. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for an hour or until done. Meatloaf Sauce: This is enough sauce to cover 1 small baking pan. 1/2 Cup Ketchup 6 T. Brown Sugar 1 Tsp. Dry Mustard Add all ingredients in a bowl; whisk. Baked Potatoes: This is my favorite way to bake potatoes. I save bacon grease when I fry bacon and freeze it until I need it. Wash Russet potatoes, pat dry with a paper towel. Using a fork, pierce both sides of the potato 4 times. Rub Russet Potatoes with bacon grease; sprinkle Kosher Salt all over. DO NOT WRAP IN FOIL! Put potatoes in an aluminum pan or a baking pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for an hour or until tender. Quote Link to comment
