BIG ERN
I'll keep it simple. Luke is better than Martinez. AM is now the back up. It's clearly evident and I won't hear otherwise Frost continues to be one of the worst red zone play callers I've ever witnessed...442 total yards and end up with 13 points. 6 or 7 red zone trips!!! 13 points Chinander still loves to lay off on crucial 3rd downs. NW is the worst offense in the B10. Thrive off turnovers and field position Reimer and Henrich should be on the field. Period Who in God's name teaches our secondary players to tackle?? So many piss poor attempts where they don't even attempt to wrap up Our future at WR is promising. Fleming, Betts, Wandale - odd that Brown didn't get much PT this game Ty Robinson has the sauce Props to Farmer for stepping up. Lacks some speed but made some big plays Penalties. Penalties. Penalties. 17 in two games Special teams was abysmal today. Bad punts. Horrible coverage. Missed FG 6 1 Quote Link to comment
NebraskaHarry
Unfortunately it's the same old stuff. 5 Quote Link to comment
Archy1221
Couldn’t agree more. I would add that the walk on and former walk on receivers have no business being on the field. And if we do not start throwing the ball downfield more things will not get better anytime soon. 3 1 Quote Link to comment
LumberJackSker
Luke needs a shot at starting next game Flemming can get open Its weird that some of our team captains are also playing some if the worst football. 3 1 Quote Link to comment
Cy the Cyclone
My take aways: 1. Glad you chose Frost and let us keep Campbell. 2. If you are a prospective RB recruit, look somewhere besides Nebraska 3. Neither of your QBs look impressive. 4. NW is bad. 5. Kirk Ferentz is a racist (which has nothing to do with Nebraska but I like to keep pointing it out) 6. Footballs bounce real high when you throw it at a helmet 7. Kansas looks better at this point in the season 1 1 2 2 Quote Link to comment

BIG ERN
Luke's numbers coming off the sidelines in two games. 16/21 (76%) 129 yards rushing (7.5 ypc) 2 1 Quote Link to comment
HuskerPwr
Where was Thompkins today? Wandale didn’t have many touches again. Did Manning see the field? Were receivers really not getting open? Both QBs had bad throws at times and great runs. Not having Jurgens and Stoll hurt us. Quote Link to comment
NebraskaHarry
I learned that if Nebraska would have played Wisconsin last week, they would have likely got their teeth kicked in. 5 2 Quote Link to comment

Manning seemed to be a decoy when he did see the field. Quote Link to comment

huskerfan74
My takeaways: (1) Scott Frost should consider donating his paycheck to charity as he has not earned a penny's worth this season. (2) our defense played well enough for us to win the game even though they were horrible on third and long but still had two interceptions and kept us in the game (3) saying that our red zone offense is atrocious is the understatement of this horrible 2020 year (4) frost play calling is predictable and laughable. (5) Iowa will wipe the floor with this team even with a racist coach (6) we probably only have a chance to beat Illinois and that is doubtful at this point (7) we have no identity or any strengths in this team. Other than Reimers and DOMANN, who played lights out, the rest were below average (8) for those who say that Speilman was a non factor, I say: are you kidding me (9) this crapshoot of a football team is not going to get fixed any time soon. We can’t recruit top talent if we keep showing the world how crappy we are so this vicious cycle will continue for the next decade. (10) our only hope is to start Luke the rest of the games and get him some experience going into next season since this season is an 0-7 or a 1-6 at best. Might as well get him ready for next year. 2 Quote Link to comment
