It blows my mind the lack of republicans willing to stand up to Donald Trump on this. How hard is to say, you won 4 years ago, you lost this year, it's how it goes, thanks for everything the last 4 years, transition to Biden like our democracy demands.

I think they're afraid of their own constituents. Republicans who come out against Trump in any way get savaged on social media and plenty of death threats. The base is loaded with true believers. The D.C. establishment is much more amenable returning to the status quo.

When I came back to Lincoln last month I noticed plenty of political yard signs, but virtually nothing on behalf of Ben Sasse.

They're trying to nullify votes in higher pop. (Democrat) areas in Wisconsin now. Imagine if this bulls#!t actually made it through. This logic could be used to invalidate Democrat votes in every election.

"Election workers, overwhelmed by the sudden flood of mailed ballots, have less ability to carefully review them to screen out fraudulent ones, creating a substantial risk that fraudulent votes will be counted and vote-dilution disenfranchisement will occur," the lawsuit says.

The suit seeks to exclude all the presidential vote totals from the two most populous and heavily Democratic counties in the state when certifying the state's results. Those two counties delivered 577,408 votes for Biden and 213,133 for Trump, a gap of 364,264 votes, according to unofficial results. Other counties also had high levels of absentee voting but were not targeted in the lawsuit.

If news organizations are gonna call Trump or his associates liars, which I think they should do when appropriate, they should probably know what a lie is first. The below could very well be what they are actually doing.

"We are moving forward here at the White House under the assumption that there will be a second Trump term," trade adviser Navarro lied on Fox Business Friday morning.

3 different law firms have quit various election related cases for Trump in the past couple days.

You can read about the "Evidence" on Trump's website. It's hilarious. It's first hand accounts from Republican poll watchers. It's entirely made up of people saying, "People were mean to me", "I didn't understand the process, so something sketchy was happening", "They were moving too fast for me to follow along".

At times, during this unnerving week in America’s capital, it has felt as though we were watching events unfold in Minsk or some other dictator stronghold where elections are not stolen the day votes are cast but in the weeks afterward, as the defeated President holes up in his palace, defying reality and increasingly urgent crowds in the streets. Here in Minsk-on-the-Potomac, Trump has been perpetrating the Big Lie, claiming the election was stolen from him and apparently persuading millions of Americans to go along with this evidence-free fantasy.
