His take on leaking info during an investigation trying to frame the argument is unethical at best.   If Trump is guilty, then try him in court not through the media.

trump and his team leaked the names of the FBI agents and the judges name to his cult.

This all could have been avoided if Trump was somewhat rational, and actually surrounded himself with good people.

If you put yourself in situations like this, I don't feel bad for you having to live through the difficulties that stem from it.

Why any reasonable adult would feel sorry for this clown is beyond me...

"In November 2020, after the election, Turley appeared on Fox & Friends and claimed that election machines In Michigan had switched “thousands of votes“ from Donald Trump to Joe Biden, suggesting problems with the results."

Never heard of the guy, but a quick google search shows he's partisan, or lacks common sense....possibly both.

A quick google search would have shown you he absolutely isn’t partisan :dunno

What if, instead of slowly building evidence through careful investigation culminating in an indictment, the Department of Justice just told a mob boss the names and addresses of everyone wearing a wire and blasted out its working theory of the case before looking at the evidence? It’s an interesting thought experiment if you’re an absolute moron.

In entirely related news, Jonathan Turley thinks the Justice Department should publicly post its whole case before getting an indictment.

Turley took to The Hill, a publication basically no-code 4Chan at this point, to complain that Merrick Garland must “earn” back the public trust he lost when he didn’t Keystone Kop a sensitive investigation about national security secrets by publishing the nuclear codes on the back of every milk carton for a week. And the only way Garland can overcome the legitimacy crisis facing the Department of Justice in Turley’s addled mind is by playing fast and loose with affidavit redactions:

Presenting yet another editorial from the honorable https://jonathanturley.org/ Totally impartial, and definitely mentally stable source.

I know I hate that a federal investigation is being done without disclosing every fact to the general public. Lord knows how many investigations are going on, but we should probably put all potential defendants on notice with the known evidence we have against them.

I don't know how you think anyone can take you seriously when you post this kind of stuff, but you've managed to do it for years now. Must be exhausting to spend so much time and effort justifying your endorsement of evil.

Some people just don’t get it. Always spreading garbage.

It’s crazy now how people equate wanting our own DOJ to not leak details of a criminal investigation to the press as far right Trump BS.

crazy that trump demanded it all be released...now trump and  the far right complains about what is released.

How is advocating for DOJ (or whoever else it is) to not leak investigative materials during an investigation while at same time they go to court advocating for the non release of other material in the same investigation garbage.

How about they don't verbally leak anonymously to reporters on information people can’t actually see on any investigation not just the Trump one.

You have a strange version of what’s garbage.

It’s crazy now how people want to play the whataboutism game by blaming Garland's methodology in handling this investigation in an attempt to turn the narrative away from the fact that they voted twice for a guy who had loads and loads of SCI documents laying around his beach house which need to be viewed in only highly secure facilities and by doing so likely put our county's national security at risk and likely compromised our intelligence assets which patching up will take years and at a huge cost, yet these same people babble about "'Merika First!!" and "muh tax dollars"
