Sure, but there is no law against nominating a convicted felon for president. Take that, libs!

Somewhere, someone posted a list of best to worst Presidents.  I'm here to declare the list wrong.  It had hom close to the bottom.

He is flat out, no questions asked...at the bottom.  There is no American President in the history of the world that is worse the Donald J Trump.

I don't know... Hoover could be pretty down there, and Jackson did some horrible things but purely on character/idiocy Trump has to be the worst.

Liz Cheney also REALLY loved his politics.

Its such a mystery why they turned in her…

At some point character has to count for something, right?

Let's be clear with everyone here.

Trump had no "politics".

He supported and signed whatever the GOP brass told him to.  That's why Cheney and Kizinger voted along side him so often.

What Trump was/is, is a poisonous persona that attracted the worst in America.  There are many great conservatives.  There are also a lot of s#!tty people (sorry I didn't want to offend by saying "deplorable") that will vote for conservative politicians if they feel they will support their s#!tty beliefs.

Now, the GOP has given those s#!tty folks power within the party.  And they either have to stand up against, or deal with the backlash from what is hopefully a larger electorate.

This isn't a complicated situtation.

If you support a GOP that continues to give power to s#!tty people, you are hurting America.  We want/need a responsible and thoughtful government.  Electing folks like Herschel Walker just because he promises to do what Mitch McConnell says is anti-american.  Why should a Senator (that many pro-Trumpers hate) from Kentucky tell a senator for Georgia what to vote for?

Until GOP voters choose to distance themselves from this s#!t show, we are stuck with it.  And I don't see the America we love lasting much more than a generation if that's the case.  Our system of govt is what makes America great, at least as written in the Constitution.  Not apple pie, Jesus, or football...

America has really great people, and also really bad people.  Choose to support the good!

As opposed to electing Warnock that promises to do what Schumer tells him to do?

A good response might be:

Georgia needs a coherent GOP candidate that can actually "talk" in a debate.

At least at the first level.

give me a f#&%ing break!

You have already decided Warnock should be the GA Senator so that standards argument doesn’t really hold water.  We should agree that neither candidate is the brightest bulb and in a perfect world neither should be in the Senate.  But at the present time, one of them will be. I’d rather it be someone aligned with McConnell then that dips#!t Schumer.

@Archy1221, so you good with Mitch McConnell running the senate?

I thought you were in the party of all those pesky "career conservatives" needing replaced?

Do you realize how cartoonish you are?

I really don’t quite understand why you all resort to personal attacks when we’re having a decent discussion on the direction of the Senate.

Yes, I’m fine with McConnell running the Senate.  Why in the world is that cartoonish?

Okay, so you are equating the intelligence.  Witch isn't true to any person with the presence of at 4/5 senses.

And also, you do like the "politics" of Cheney (assuming since she voted with McConnel like 100% of the time)

Do you realize that you are confirming the idea of you as a "cartoon"????
