The Duke
What Did We Learn? I learned: At this point Scott Frost needs to swallow his pride and start completely over with his offensive scheme... starting now, or this program will never be able to recover. This is nowhere near the same scheme Frost & Moos sold us 3 years ago. Frost and the entire coaching staff are officially now on the hot seat. Luke McCaffery is a great athlete, but not a great quarterback. His passes have no zip. The ball takes too much time to get from his throwing hand to an open receiver, and by that point it's too late. Nebraska should NEVER wear alternate uniforms ever again. 8 Quote Link to comment
Huskinator
Luke can not throw an accurate ball. Luke has no deep ball. adrian must have really made someone mad. Wan’Dale has a TON of heart Defense still can’t get off the field, it’s been what 18 years of that? no discipline, especially o line and the entire punt return team. I dunno where we go from here. I’ve been a true fan of frosty but I’m concerned. Does chin need to go? Almost instantly? 7 Quote Link to comment
Bigred_inSD
Chin and Frost have a million dollar ego and two cent game plan and an overdraft fee for adjustments 4 2 Quote Link to comment

chamrocck
At this point, done wasting time on what did we learn. We all saw the same crappy football. Thank God we didn’t have to play Wisconsin. Like 90% here, you are watching the rest of the games like me. I’m willing to see how we play out. 2020 sucks altogether. Silver lining is we are seeing a lot on certain players and coaches. If we continue to suck this bad, then you’ll hear from me but this team was $hit today. Move on to next game. 2 1 Quote Link to comment

They would have put at least 50+ on us. Quote Link to comment

Popular Post JJ Husker
I learned I really DGAF. Sure I'm confused and don't understand how we can be this bad but hey, I've got real life sh#t to do. Used to be something like this would ruin my whole day or weekend. Not anymore. 9 1 Quote Link to comment

You are not necessarily wrong, but a competent passing quarterback could make this offense shine. Quote Link to comment

theknife
Frost's buyout is 25 million and he has a budget to surround himself with nearly any staff he wants. If he can't see there are major coaching issues, we are in for a long 2-3 more seasons. 2 Quote Link to comment
roadrat
this offense is a turnover machine. Effort is so troubling. Defense never stopped Illinois today (yes Illinois). 1 Quote Link to comment
Popular Post PaulCrewe
Saturdays are much more entertaining when knowing I do not in anyway have to give Chin kudos. The OLine is getting worse the last three weeks. Oliver Martin played well in his limited snaps(2 catches and a great block on WanDale's long run) so don't expect to see him next week. Garrett Nelson really hasn't a clue on what exactly he's supposed to do, but he goes 100 mph so people like him An OLB clone of JoJo to play opposite JoJo is desperately needed. The CBs can lock down the best WR in the league playing press man, but for some reason 10-15 yards off the line is the better gameplan??? There is no way anyone has a clue of what NU has in any given skill player, because no one can get in any kind of rhythm due to getting yanked around series to series while Scott figures out what his offense is Kicker and punter are solid, the 10 guys they share the field with........ifffy Some posters, labeled "Debbie Downers", are actually people who have spotted the bad trends and flaws long ago, and are frustrated that these things have never been corrected three years in. We do love NU football, and enjoy when the team wins. However, when patterns occur week after week, it gets more and more difficult to be cheery about it 10 1 Quote Link to comment
