I have been an Adrian fan all along. You just sound like a broken record slamming FROST without acknowledging any of the reasons behind the situation we are in. We get it. None of us are happy about our current record but we try to look a bit deeper than- our coach sucks. 4 1 Quote Link to comment

Which would mean ... /checks math ... he was 3/4 from 10-20 yards. One of the incompletions sure looked to me like it was just thrown away but I'm not sure which length it was. Quote Link to comment

That was the lone incomplete in the 10-20 yard range. 2 2 Quote Link to comment

Martinez for the year: 20+ yards - 3/11, 79 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT 10-20 yards - 6/8, 110 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT 0-10 yards - 22/26, 170 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT Behind LOS - 14/16, 88 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT Other than Northwestern game: 20+ yards - 2/4, 54 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT 10-20 yards - 4/4, 68 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT 0-10 yards - 16/18, 135 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT Behind LOS - 11/11, 63 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT 7 1 Quote Link to comment
WyoHusker56
The Northwestern game is really the outlier for AM and the reason he was benched, but NW is the 10th ranked defense right now and the loss to MSU is probably more about the 4 turnovers than the defense being bad. Wish we'd seen AM sooner in the Illinois game for sure. 4 Quote Link to comment
Gorillahawk
It's been said before but I think we disregard it too quick. Sure AM isnt the Am he was as a frosh, but he also had a 10x better WR core his freshman year. We have no deep threat right now. It's pretty damn hard for any QB or offense to be effective when the defense can keep 8 or 9 in the box at all times and defend the pass while doing so. If I have any real frustration with Frost it's that he's not playing the younger guys who have the potential to take the top off of the defense 2 Quote Link to comment

And less behind the LOS. Might help loosening up the Defense. Frost really doesn't have a knack for calling swing passes and screens. It's the weakest part of his play calling, and it's predictable. But this shows pretty clearly we're not pushing the ball downfield, so the question becomes - is that a QB issue, a scheme issue or a talent issue? Because I'm thinking at least 50% of the issue is we don't have any WRs that can stretch the defense right now. 3 1 Quote Link to comment
