I'd very much like to see the diversity numbers on residents of this area vs. other parts of FL ...

edit:  Looked it up.  Race is typical FL balance, heavy on the white, but income is certainly an outlier

Population
White alone, percent  86.5%
Black or African American alone, percent(a)  9.2%
American Indian and Alaska Native alone, percent(a)  0.5%
Asian alone, percent(a)  1.8%

But Education and income is interesting:

Education

High school graduate or higher, percent of persons age 25 years+, 2016-2020 89.3%
Bachelor's degree or higher, percent of persons age 25 years+, 2016-2020

28.5%

Income & Poverty

Median household income (in 2020 dollars),  $59,608

Per capita income in past 12 months (in 2020 dollars),  $34,818

You know, it just hit me. A lot of GOP supporters are old testament people. Maybe all the Desantis supporters will drop him now that God has taken his wrath out on Florida for the inhumane actions of their governor.

Naahhh... who am I kidding, they'll probably blame it on fornicators, furries, and the LGBT people.

That is pathetic.  The party is pathetic.  - The first 5 (after Trump) have all been stained by Trump.

Out of that list:  Only Cheney, Sasse, and possibly Christie are unstained by Trump or aren't a part of MAGA in some form.

Where is Governor Hogan (former  Maryland gov)?  He should be on that list.
