what can go wrong

Nothing can go wrong with a cult leader who is the unquestioned favorite to win the nomination of his party who is calling for his followers to, once again, undertake violence in his name.

Of course those that are into that kind of thing would "lol meh" the concept of a fascist takeover of our democracy.  They're good with that.  They're good with a malignant narcissist calling on his followers to "take back our country", "fight like hell", "it's time" so that he doesn't have to face justice like any other citizen would if they had committed the same crimes.  I mean American Exceptionalism keeps us from falling into an authoritarian hole as other countries have.  We're better than other people.  Well at least until the Dems are in power then we're on the road to communism and sure ruin.

I’m convinced that trump would prefer that the whole country burn down if it means he can avoid accountability. The date and place is not unplanned and it is a picture into the mind and intention of the current cult leader and his deranged followers

He's a malignant narcissist and his behavior is classic narcissism.  It cannot be explained any other way.  For the narcissist the dopamine rush of being the center of attention and in control of the narrative, even if that means burning down everything around them including themselves, fills the hole in their vacuous being.  Riding off peacefully into the sunset and giving back selflessly to society like Carter did is literally impossible for them.  There's no stimulation to fill their otherwise empty souls.

Republican politicians that refuse to condemn Trump, especially after he asked his worshipers to protest again, can go f#&% themselves when they try to claim they are the party of law and order.

Chrispy helped to create this.

Well stayed and all true.  Trump indeed is an empty soul just like Hitler was and Putin is. He will prey on his followers as long as he can and fleece them for all he can get. He is a cancer on our political system and the sooner he is in jail won’t be soon enough
