KCBuc
Any chance NU will change up to an attacking and disruptive 3-4 with all these extra practices? It’s what I want for Christmas but it will probably be more coal. 1 Quote Link to comment

Stone Cold
Think we got torched with the 4-3 defense on a few occasions a well. Its not what you run its who you run it with. 2 1 Quote Link to comment

Kansas could use the money, plus they have a center that hikes the ball over the QBs head ever higher than yours does and with alarming frequency. I'm almost embarrassed by how hard I laughed at this. Quote Link to comment
Guy Chamberlin
After Pelini was fired, Nebraska treated the 2014 USC Holiday Bowl as a test run for a high octane tempo offense. It worked pretty well as I recall, although the Husker defense couldn't cover its end. If Frost wanted to roll out a new look, some new players, and even a bit of a gamble for either Rutgers or a self-selecting bowl game, I might get a lot more interested. Getting more reps doing things that clearly aren't working doesn't help the team and isn't fun to watch. 1 Quote Link to comment

MyBloodIsRed16
Just play all the backups except on O-line and Wandale. Play two back up safeties and one backup corner. Lets see what happens 1 Quote Link to comment

I agree, but at the same time this is a year I'd be willing to let it go. We've already had way more December practices than we usually get, and the players deserve a break. It's been a long year, even though they haven't been able to practice/play for all of it. The bowl game would be an extra week or so (maybe less if we let them go home for Christmas), and I don't think it's worth sacrificing their personal lives for that little time. Let them go home, as much as I'd love watching another game. Quote Link to comment

Well, the Nebraska world knows how inept the coaches really are. I think the rest of the football watching world watches other games now, much more than say, 15 or 20 years ago. 1 Quote Link to comment
