Insurrection fallout

Didn’t we go through this in 2016, but somehow the FBI didn’t get involved?   BTw….the local Nevada news covered this current story back in day and even they counted it as a symbolic move with no threat to changing the outcome of the election.

Anywhooo…

Gaslighting, paranoia, whataboutism, and coup loving all in one post.  Well done.  If you think this is even in the same universe as a few liberals floating the Electoral College idea (wrongly) you haven't been paying attention.  Did anyone in power actually foment a coup at that time?  Why would the FBI investigate a few pundits mouthing off.  Maybe in your fever dream of a fascist utopia they would.

Great question.  Maybe we would know if it was investigated by the FBI and a 2016 congressional election commission.  Who knows what the Dems and Clinton’s fomented?  Lots of public statements though!  Oh and stands against certifying the EC by people like, yep you guessed it, Raskin.

Dems:  Investigstions for thee but not for me.

So we should have investigated Hilary who conceded within 24 hours of the election, or Obama who had Trump to the White House within 48 hours the election? Surely you see a difference in these two situations. There is no investigation if Trump acts the way Hilary/Obama acted 4 years prior.

Trump should have conceded once his court challenges were deemed fruitless.

It’s the alternate elector scheme that has me intrigued as this was floated amongst the top think tanks in the Dem party in 2016.  HRC still says the election was illegitimate and sows discord from time to time.

Is there a Jan 6th commission if the dopey lawbreakers don’t enter the Capitol?

So what you're saying is that when it comes to over-throwing democracy, Democrats do whiny symbolic things, while Republicans roll up their sleeves and do the hard work real sedition requires.

Probably not. But Donald Trump manipulating the U.S. Post Office for electoral purposes, leaning on state officials to deliver him votes he didn't win, and everything his inner circle had already fomented on Jan 5 was worse than Watergate.

Now that I think about it.........it might be even worse than Benghazi!
