Mcflyaz
I know this year we’re not going to win many games but I can’t remember the last time we had a good FT shooting team. Why are we so bad at this every year? How does it get fixed? Whatever we have been doing isn’t working. 4 Quote Link to comment

Problem is, this has been a problem for a long time, not just Fred’s teams. This year he completely changes the roster with players that are supposed To be good shooters and we still suck at it. JJ Husker
If it helps any, it's not only free throws that they suck at. But I really don't get being that horrible at FTs. When I played, we would shoot them at every practice. It's not difficult at all to shoot north of .800. At the college level, a coach should not have to focus on it or waste time in practice. It's a player pride thing. Apparently our players have none. 1 Quote Link to comment

A player will transfer here as a really good shooter and all of a sudden is throwing up airballs. I have to believe they practice free throws in practice. I don't care if you're Curry in the NBA, you're still going to spend time shooting free throws. It should literally be the easiest shot in any game. It's the same shot every single time with nobody contesting you. Frustrating. 1 Quote Link to comment
