JJ Husker
3 impressive wins since 2015? And 3 of ‘em, not even just 1.....What is this, impossible task day? Pretty sure I haven’t said “hey, that’s a good win” in reference to Nebraska football in a very long time. 2 2 Quote Link to comment
GamingGlen
When did we upset OSU? Michigan State upset. Beating UCLA in that "farm" bowl. Maybe those were before 2015? It's all a blur. 2 Quote Link to comment

Toe
The Michigan State game is the only one that really even comes to mind, and even that feels a bit hollow in retrospect. 2 Quote Link to comment
krc1995
Can it be a tie at the end of regulation? Iowa 2019 didn’t we roll Miami at home? Then that one. Quote Link to comment
Hilltop
A Few Possibilities By Year- 2016 - Nebraska beat Oregon 35 to 32 & Northwestern 24-13 helping to start the year 7-0. Hopes were high until the loss to Wisconsin & the Ohio State beat down. 2017 - ?? Nebraska beat Illinois 28-6 2018 - Nebraska beat Minnesota 53-28 & Michigan State in the snow 9-6 (both felt like good wins at the time as we were gaining momentum. 2019 - ?? Maybe Nebraska over Maryland 54-7 or Illinois 42-38 in a shootout. In reality nothing felt good about that season. 2020 - ?? Nebraska over Penn State 30-23. It felt good to get the win but it didn't feel like a good win at the time. Not many "impressive" wins to choose from but if I had to pick 3 games that were impressive, one would be the close loss to Ohio State in 2018, One would be the win over a rising Minnesota team in 2018, and the third would maybe be the Northwestern game from 2016. That took us to 4-0 and it felt like we were on a different trajectory from years past. Players were believing and fans were starting to get excited. 1 Quote Link to comment
TGHusker
Scott's first win - Minnesota 2018 2016 Oregon The time we beat Wisc ..... what we haven't beaten Wisc The time we almost beat OSU in 2018.... still not a win ok 2015 UCLA - the last time we won a bowl game and the 2nd to last time we were in a bowl game. Fru
This is more about emotional importance, than actual stakes, but Penn St 2020 will probably always stand out in my mind. An ugly win against an ugly opponent in a monstrously ugly year. The momentary distraction from the world that that win provided at the time was definitely needed. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
