According to Hoiberg it was because the players on the floor were playing better than the ones on the bench.  I suspect it has something to do with his wrist injury and his shot selection.

He was immediately pulled after a bad transition 3 so while he may have hurt his wrist I’d say the latter of the two is the primary reason
