suh_fan93
Nice! Love this kids arm. Pair him up with some good receivers and good line play and liking his potential. Quote Link to comment
Lorewarn
Nice! I'm not crazy high on the kid but getting your quarterback is often one of the lynchpin pieces to the rest of your offensive recruiting. Welcome Richard. Quote Link to comment

suh_fan93
Wondering if Torres committing shuts things down as far as A.J Bianco goes? Quote Link to comment

Toe
^ Well, at least he completed a couple short passes in that video, even if they were against air... Quote Link to comment
Mavric
I do like that his mechanics look decent. Gets his shoulders turned well and transfers his weight. Two things that guys with big arms don't always do - they can try to just muscle it there with all arm. Doesn't thrown a very tight spiral. Quote Link to comment

Ordinarily taking a project is fine, but this is multiple years in a row. Frost and Co. need to actually develop high school skill possession talent, something they haven't done well, or start recruiting players ready to play after their redshirt year. Let's hope Torres gets better and can be the guy to turn Nebraska into a winner. 2 2 Quote Link to comment
MyBloodIsRed16
Development is just as much on the player as it is on the coaches. That being said I worked with a Juan Torres in Chicago who looks just like this kid but was probably 5'8". Same haircut tho Quote Link to comment

With the trajectory of the program, losing seasons 5 of the last 6 years and no bowls I can't imagine too many top tier QB's even would consider NU at this point. 1 1 Quote Link to comment

I'm sure the staff would love to take a 4 or 5 star qb or skill position guy and are actively trying to recruit them, but maybe these are the best that are interested at the moment. If you were a 4 or 5 star talent with no ties to Nebraska you probably aren't interested in a team that cant even make a bowl game. 2 1 1 Quote Link to comment
