I have been trying to find the exit polling on Latino voting. it went big for DeSantis obviously, but overall male Latino support for Dems dropped below 55% from 63%. Latino women were stronger for the Dems than the men. Desantis rose from 44% to above 60%. What does mean for his run in 2024?

You can’t extrapolate Florida Hispanics nationwide because how much Cubans skew the sample there.

 

So in reality it doesn’t tell us much.

I need to find the right article…maybe in my history,… but it was not just Cubans going for DeSantis. Puerto Ricans and other Latinos did as well. Nationally the Republicans gained with Hispanics from 2018. It’s a 60/40 Dem lead now.
