Alvarez Retiring

Beginning of the "end" for Wisconsin athletics. Before Barry was there the athletics at that school, especially football, were bad. If the historic communism nature of that university and city "take over" it will have an impact across the university.

Doesn't matter who they hire to replace Barry since Barry WAS the foundation, the key that held that football program together for decades. When a coach wanted to change things up and go more spread, Barry would not allow it and one coach even left because of that.

The highest that the WI football program to to under Barry was a Rose Bowl win. Sure that is a good result, but getting higher than the Rose Bowl will now be a thing of the past hope no matter who they hire.

The only question is, how long does it take for things to change for the worse over there. Basketball is already showing signs of a decline taking place. Football had an average season last year and now that Barry will be gone this summer, his influence on what takes place for game prep, film, and more will be lost.

Oh my, who will make decisions for Kevin Warren now....??

Nah, more like these two things?

1: WHo is now going to make sure Nebraska always has a tougher schedule than WI?

2: For the first time in a little over 30 years WI will have a new head football coach.
