DJR313
Oh Wow. I didn't know that Crawford was interested in coming to play football for the Huskers. What position was he interested in playing? His speed would of been a great asset for the team. He was a QB. Dee Brown, former point guard at Illinois also considered NU for football as well as none other than Allen Iverson. Quote Link to comment
Spartness
Crawford was a huge lose for Solich. He was suppose to be the real deal as an option QB -- a lot better than Lord. Quote Link to comment
Washusker
Crawford is on the verge of superstardom as an outfielder. He made the right choice - even if he does play for the D-Rays. Quote Link to comment
BIGREDFAN_in_OMAHA
Yes Crawford was a member of the 1999 class at QB. There was also a TE out of Iowa about 10 years ago that Nebraska was recruiting but went high enough in the MLB draft that he went for baseball. Quote Link to comment
Drowning_in_the_Sea_of_Red
Unless he goes in one of the earlier rounds (what are there like 4000?) I don't think we'll have to worry too much. But I guess you never know where a kid's heart is. Hell....maybe we'll let him play baseball here too. Quote Link to comment
