Idk if they have a history, but Stewart was outta line with that shove on Lebron. Lebron went too far with that swing on Stewart. And then Stewart went belligerently too far in his reaction. I also felt like Stewart was doing quite a bit of showmanship. Dude had a clear opportunity to punch/fight Lebron if that’s what he really wanted to do. Quote Link to comment
Omaha-Husker
LeBron is the biggest name and best player of this era, but Curry is the most influential player of this era in terms of how the game is played on the court. Insane that he broke the three point record this quickly. Guys like Ray Allen and Reggie Miller will eventually have stats that make them look like elite QBs from the 90s passing stats compared to even average QB numbers today. Crazy what he did for 3 point shooting in the sport. Quote Link to comment
admo
Legend became the 4th player in Dallas Maverick history to have his number retired tonight. Quote Link to comment
sho
Well deserved for the fellow kraut. Should have multiple championships, but some questionable cooking cost them the Heat series. And who started the statue trend? Was that the Lakers? Either way, I do like the look of his statue with his patented fade away. Quote Link to comment

It's not about the talent level, it's more about the fit. Brody is about as bad of a fit along side LeBron as anyone in the NBA. He needs guys that can be spot up shooters, and can defend. The two things Brody can't do is defend and shoot. He's at his best when he can drive and dish and pad his stats. He can't do that with Lebron and AD. Anthony Day-to-Davis, needs to actually figure out how to stay healthy, he has an uncanny ability to find ways to get hurt. It was also a monumentally stupid decision to let Caruso walk, he is the glue guy, and the Lakers don't have one right now. 90% of the rest of the roster is just thrown together with no rhyme or reason, based on the position they play. Doesn't make sense for a LeBron focused team. This last off-season was a disaster orchestrated by Rich Paul and really handcuffed Rob Pelinka and screwed the Lakers for this season and potentially next season as well. The Brody trade was an unmitigated disaster, and I knew from the moment they announced it. The Lakers off season was the equivalent of signing Aaron Rodgers and running a Lamar Jackson offense and signing an OL that can either run block or pass block, but can't do both. The Buddy Hield trade they had all but signed until Rich and his guys stopped it would have been MUCH BETTER fit for LeBron and AD, even with those two only playing like 20 games together. Do the Hield trade, have the room to sign DeRozan who by all accounts was to be signed after the Buddy trade went through and keep Caruso, and this team is somewhere between 2-4 in the West, they wouldn't have kept pace with the Suns. And to be honest, if they just wouldn't have done the trade and kept KCP, Kuz and only looked to move Montrezl would have been the best option. But Rich convinced Pelinka major moves were needed and they did all the wrong moves to make a cohesive team. Quote Link to comment
