Bryce and Verge looked like they wanted to get theirs, so they could stuff the stat sheet for an NBA look. They'll probably be "on" enough to win us 10-15 games. Then they'll leave, and we will look for the next two transfers that want a green light for 20+ shot attempts.

A few weeks ago I made the comment that one of Fred's biggest challenges is having Trey and Bryce on the same team and just wanting to feed each other and not play with the other team mates.  I wasn't expecting Verge to be part of that.

I wish people, in all walks of life, would understand the best way to get to the next level up in your career is to be amazing at the level you are at.  For BB players, that means win games.....not being a hog and show boating.

It's been tough to watch. We had Cam Mack hero ball, then Teddy Allen hero ball, now we're on to part 3. The most they've appeared to be a "Team" was when Teddy left last year. You are 100% right on ball hog/show boating. I hate Creighton but year in and out they have a team of guys willing to make the extra pass to get an open look, so much prettier than blackhole ball. They still have time to figure it out, but if year 3 continues to look like this, I will become very bearish on Hoiberg.

I take back every good thing I said about this team during the offseason.

Creighton by 10.

I take back everything I thought about this team during the off season.  Didn't have the nerve to say any of it.. burned too many times.

Creighton?  Hell I don't know... 81 to 74.

If you want to be even more disappointed go to Trey and Bryce's twitter accounts. They seem to be very proud of the dunks and accolades they achieved in a loss to an awful Summit League team.

I've seen it on twitter all morning.  Looking at Nebrasketball twitter, you would think we won by 30 with all the highlights of dunks.

if they all put forward the effort displayed by Trey McGowens we would have won by double digits easily. We played solid defense until it was time to rebound. Hell even when shooting free throws Wilcher literally just stood in his spot. Made zero effort to rebound etc. Was extremely disappointing.

Well... are we talking about coaching issues?  I hate to channel Husker football energy into this area.
