I hope its empty as a ghost town. The absolute worst way you could spend a beautiful Fall day. Watch at home and play with your kids. Dont get too emotional over this, we will get stomped. Its not the end of the world.

But we didn’t get stomped. We went toe to toe with one of the best teams in the B1G and ranked 5th in the nation. The stadium was packed out.

You guys quitting on the program can kiss off.  Entitled cry baby whiners.

You are either a fan or not, in bad times and good.  Support those kids.

I'm on the fence about a coach change but would never consider quitting on the program.  There may be some coaches or players letting you down but they are a small percentage of the whole.  The rest deserve your support.  GBR

I think there are many like you. If we keep Frost I think next year is the time the streak finally ends. I honestly am not too upset if the streak ends but others feel strongly about it.

To everybody else in the nation, the streak ended when donors had to buy unsold tickets before a game. It is a joke to say it is still intact, but I guess as a team, if that is all you have to hold on to, you cross your fingers behind your back and cherish how the streak continues.

Ticket scalping illegal outside Memorial?

I don't think so? I have walked around shouting 2 - need two cops never bothered me. Usually do it outside the stadium or at tailgates near the stadium. Never done it right in front of the entrance. I know Omaha has a city code against doing it within a half mile of the venue selling above face value. However I have bought several tickets to Creighton or other events outside the CHI health arena's front door.

The steak isn't about that.  I could care less what a fan of another team thinks.  The streak is about having a lot of people show up to cheer our team on, no matter what.  We still do that better than anyone else in the nation.

Went to the game yesterday. About 20 min to kickoff, the stadium was looking very patchy. I figured this would've been the day apathy fully set in. To my surprise, the stadium filled in and it looked as packed as any game I've been to. Not only that, but it seemed the entire stadium was standing for the majority of the game.

Cry and whine about the artificial sell out streak all you want, but the attendance for this program, in an era when filling stadiums at any level is a challenge, is utterly absurd.
