Ohio State: What Did We Learn?

Recommended Posts

I think the big money guys will have Frost finish his contract so they don’t look like stupid dopes running off their golden boy and paying a big penalty.

I hope and pray that Frost & Co can get it together next year.

Some of the games have looked like a slapstick comedy show but some of them were also close games against the league leaders.

Like Harry Enfield and the Scousers would say…. Calm Down! Calm Down!

With the AM situationFrost has shown him himself to be either incredibly stubborn or incredibly loyal. What makes people think he’s going to let anyone dictate to him staff or scheme changes?

And even if he did allow changes to the staff, ultimately he’s still the guy calling the shots. At this point I don’t know if firing is the right call or not, but honestly I really don’t know why we would expect anything different if he does come back. He’s actually been incredibly consistent over the four years……consistently head scratching.

This season has shown that Frost is way too stubborn to admit that his way is not working. He is not the type to make any changes and if Martinez were to commit to another year, Frost will ride him till the end. I just hope that Trev realizes that giving Frost another year will not result in anything different than what transpired this season. Frost has nothing new to offer. If he did, we would have seen it already. It is time for a fresh start for both Frost and Nebraska. This experiment has run its course. We gave it all the time it needed to succeed but it failed. Time to move on. No hard feelings.

:yeahCouldn't have said it better.

Would you still feel that way if he replaces 2-3 offensive coaches and snags a good transfer QB?

This team has heart and plenty of talent to hang with some of the best teams in the country. It's a coaching issue.

Is it? How did they become good enough to hang with anyone in the country, cause that's coaching. Is it the coaches fault when the players choke? I mean it's a serious question the players are choking at the end of every game we have lost this season. Do you think the coaches are responsible for that?

You're right everything's the players fault. They call the plays, they develop and recruit offensive lineman too.
