Hasn't he been one of our top guys on the recruiting trail? He can't develop, and it has become obvious. Also, he doesn't have a ton of supporters around the facilities like he once did. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
I am on record on this board saying that I would understand and not be angry if he was let go at the end of the season. If he is to come back, he needs to have a specific game plan as to how there would be major changes to the program such as offensive staff and ST coach. Sounds like that's what is happening and I'm fine with that. The restructured contract is very interesting. 3 1 Quote Link to comment

captain_sasquatch
I've been pretty on the fence with letting him go or not. I can get on board with this decision especially with a restructured contract. If I were to guess I would assume it's going to be a much lower buyout and a lower salary with performance-based incentives. 3 Quote Link to comment

There was NO WAY they were going to pay the $20 million to buyout Frost's contract along with all of his assistants. I think that would have been close to over $25-million. I think Trev made not only the correct decision for the football team, but a savy business decision for the university. 3 1 Quote Link to comment
