Yes I agree for this game, didn't want to make a mistake with a freshman QB against the IA interception machine defense, in a game that is going well.

Smothers is a Freshman making his first start. We're without our starting RB as well. We've had trouble executing all year.

 

It makes zero sense to try and run an urgent offense in those conditions. You're up two scores. Don't give them a gift before the half.

I'm with you 100%.  Win ugly. Win because of poor officiating or a blown call.  Frost, the team, and the fans need this win.
