It seems that Adrian was the one with the contentious meeting from putting things together.

If that's the case, so be it. I'm skeptical of the entire deal as it screams of headline grabbing drama with little actual substance at this stage. I could be proven wrong, but without more information, we're spinning our wheels. Best case is wish the best for the departing players, hope those considering leaving wait to see who is added to the staff and for the team to go into 2022 with a new perspective and a focus on winning more than style.

This is why the culture thing was garbage all along. Our culture is so awesome our captains and Frost clash at the end of every season. Winning matters, fake a$$ culture progress is such a useless metric that people cling to when winning is nonexistent.

Exactly.  Culture is just a word for pressers.  Let’s see some damn wins.

This is what all Husker coverage has become. No writers want to alienate themselves. The Moos situation was even worse.

Before we get too far down the rabbit hole on this one (if we haven't already)... is there any confirmation that Cam Jurgens was the disgruntled player who had a contentious meeting? Or any specific player was pissed about the end of season meetings? All speculation without actual specifics.

Could it be that Frost recommended some kids exit the program as they were unlikely to get playing time? Hoiberg got some heat in his first season by essentially shipping off 95% of the team, including the home state Brady Heiman. Turned out to be the best thing for the guy as he wouldn't have seen much PT.

Feels like we're spiraling this story which was exactly what the TMZ reporter   journalist    diary entry writer intended.

I just can't imagine Trev staying home to deal with this was just one or 2 players.  I'd guess what ever happened had the potential to cause a good rift in the team.  Maybe Trev also heard somethings about how the team was run that he was unaware of.  Maybe second guessing the decision to keep Frost, allow staff to be fired.  Or maybe Trev is giving some tough love. Telling the team it's football.  Quit complaining.  You just played on the worst team in NU history. Quit b!tch!n and get ready for conditioning.  Moving forward we will win as a team or lose as team.  Decision to choose starts now.

Bottom line, who knows.  So chances Ludwig comes here?  That Ute O just beat the crap out of Oregon.  Looing forward to how they do in the Rose bowl.

I knew what you meant.    I was attempting lame humor.  It’s getting late and I don’t even think I was funny.

Don't sell yourself short. You are more of a comedian than Cam is a center. Using his confidence, I look forward to your Netflix special in the new year

Trev probably had many reasons to stick around - like meet and greet and interviews, etc.  Trev should be there as this is a most critical, urgent time.  Post season AD get together vs vital home field action?   I’d say Trev should be in Lincoln not a hotel in Chicago or Vegas or wherever ADs hang out for “meetings”.

Yep, I just get tired of the folks saying winning doesn’t paint the whole picture also conveniently chalk up anything off the field as BS as well. If we’re losing at a historic rate, and the end of the every season always results in our HC and our best players on completely different pages, where am I exactly suppose to look to see progress?

hilarious that we're losing like 4 -5 guys early to the draft on a team that went 3-9.

frost has the worst luck. i'm not sure why we're even bringing him back. we're basically starting over from scratch at this point.

knowing frosts luck we're gonna lose another 4-5 key players to the transfer portal.

oh and we have the 77th ranked recruiting class.

every time we think things can't get worse they do.
