… but the biggest one to me was when he says “Scott was really the reason.” at the 5:47 mark.

He also keeps repeating things like he "likes to help”, “go where I can help”, “think I can help here”. Add that to “Scott was really the reason” and I think you have a guy who knows he can develop quarterbacks AND young Head Coaches that have potential. I see him being a real mentor to Frost.

I like this dude.  He's got the chops and resume to get me on the cool Whipple train.  Our guys are going to love playing for him.  The oline will get help schematically, the wrs will get the ball on time more...qbs won't be holding the damn ball too long anymore.

We're all going to be stunned at how much our current players were held back because of stubborn play callers.  #inwhipwetrust

Dusted off the trusty crystal ball this afternoon FWIW. Indications are a bit more rushing and option is being aimed for than one might imagine. Including inside short yardage running plays. Quite a lot of the Frost offense remains. More trickery sprinkled in than we've seen for a while. Wildcat, misdirection plays, etc. Not (quite) as much of the offense Mark Whipple is known for.

Whip has been around.  A long time.  If he is worth the hype, he will take what we have and what he knows and create and O that works with what he has.  I like your predictions.  Michigan had success bringing in another QB at times.  Several NFL teams have had success using the wildcat.....I still do not think we have yet to see Frost's real O.  Wan'dale as a RB sure wasn't it.  Nor was using walk-ons as receivers etc.....

Appreciate that. I think we're in for a few surprises. Not sure exactly what. Maybe we'll have some situational quarterback play at times.

1. The playing style won't change too much
2. The strategy will change (play calls - Whipple)
3. The WR routes will change, to benefit the play makers & QB success (MickeyJo & Whipple)
4. We will run the ball as we have before
5. QB on point (quick decision making, accuracy, grip it and rip it)

6. Get points on the scoreboard
