It makes you wonder how this is even possible? How did the BIG Media have him there, while the AP media has him 2nd Team?

I think one considered the record while the other looked at the individual.

You are correct.  All-Conference teams generally get voted/selected by how the teams finish in the conference (especially by the coaches).  They want to reward the players on the teams who finish with the best records.

 

National awards and All-American teams are generally based on the best individual performances and seasons.  The team performance matters a lot less.

He was a beast out there. Always gave his heart every game. Never took a play off. A true warrior. I’m going to miss him.
