Toe
Quote The former Husker had a misdemeanor warrant in Iowa for possession of a controlled substance, according to law enforcement. He was issued a citation but did not show up for his court date. https://www.ketv.com/article/nebraska-zavier-betts-arrested-sunday-sarpy-county/41649020 1 Quote Link to comment
admo
Good deal for Coach Pork Chops Sideburns. I always liked him. Just not as a Husker RB coach. Hope it works out for him. Quote Link to comment

The Dude
Not a bad landing spot for him. He's probably perfectly qualified to be a G5 position coach. 3 Quote Link to comment

Don’t know how I’d use aggressive for a guy that could never pressure or get out of zone. But good luck. I still blame the guy that was leading the team. Thanks for the memories. Agreed, Boise is a top tier G5 school and recruits pretty well. He should be able to get the Nebraska stink off him in a couple years and should get another bite of the apple either as a G5 DC or P5 position coach. If he could've just strung together one more solid year (this past year) I think there is a good chance he would've gotten a G5 HC job somewhere. Quote Link to comment

Nah, when Urban Meyer gets so bored during a broadcast of your defense getting schellacked by a mediocre Oklahoma team that he quickly and flippantly exposes on national TV how inept it is, most G5 coaches are going to also realize you aint got the chops. It was only because Frost was, literally, dumb, that those coaches were ever here. 3 Quote Link to comment

Toe
Decided to see how Luke McCaffrey has been doing since he switched to WR. 58 catches for 723 yards and 6 TDs this year. Those numbers would've been #2 on our receivers list this year, a good 250 yards more than Marcus Washington, and six times the TDs. What might have been if he'd accepted the switch while he was here, and had a couple more years of experience at WR by now... 2 Quote Link to comment
