BIG ERN
Film and stats are pretty impressive even at the Juco level. Has some play making abilities and speed, can catch out of the backfield. Can also be a return man with Palmer. Class of 18' recruit so I would assume he would be 22 years old to start the year. Started at FSU then went Juco route. Quote Link to comment

The_Fan_Man
Grant had a really good season going for 1730 yards and 18 touchdowns rushing this year including going for nearly 400 yards in the JC national semifinals. 1 Quote Link to comment

Skill? Other reasons? 2. No better offers? 3. Transfer portal has a number of RBs and time is short to get into a school before 2nd semesters start and number of better programs interested may be limited already for a Juco guy perhaps? 4. Maybe Neb says we don’t have scholarships right now but you come and earn one? 1 1 1 Quote Link to comment

Grant out of HS 17th ranked RB in the country and current #1 Juco RB in the nation, Yant out of HS 122nd ranked RB. 2 Quote Link to comment
84HuskerLaw
I’m all for getting more talent but if the number of scholarships is very limited, we take Ajay if we can, otherwise O line, O line, O line and D line and defense are more important to a passing team. Imo. 1 Quote Link to comment
Mavric
There are questions as to whether his offer is committable. Still has work to do in the classroom. Quote Link to comment

This is why, I think, teams are much more active in the transfer portal than JUCO. You can find a great player at JUCO. However, many of them have issues like grades or other off the field issues that put them there. At least in the portal, you're talking to a kid who is currently qualified to be on the team. 2 Quote Link to comment
