knapplc
Is this too early? It seems like it's too early. We don't even have a RB coach and we're probably not done raiding the portal, and for sure not done having guys leave. But whatever. There's nothing else to do. Here's your 2022 Husker Football Schedule in all its glory. Who do we beat? How many wins do we end up with after this? Call your shot and win eternal glory. Date Opponent Location 8/27 Northwestern Dublin, IR 9/3 North Dakota Memorial Stadium 9/10 Georgia Southern Memorial Stadium 9/10 Oklahoma Memorial Stadium 10/1 Indiana Memorial Stadium 10/8 Rutgers at Piscataway, N.J. 10/15 Purdue at W. Lafayette, IN 10/29 Illinois Memorial Stadium 11/5 Minnesota Memorial Stadium 11/12 Michigan at Ann Arbor, MI 11/19 Wisconsin Memorial Stadium 11/25 Iowa at Iowa City, IA Here's what I got: Northwestern - W North Dakota - W Georgia Southern - W Oklahoma - L Indiana - W Rutgers - W Purdue - W Illinois - L Minnesota - L Michigan - L Wisconsin - L Iowa - L The bad news? Another huge losing streak. The good news? The longest winning streak of Frost's Nebraska tenure. Twice! And a bowl game! Hip-Hip... Wait, are not doing the hip hip thing anymore? 1 Quote Link to comment
Red Five
You should do one of these every month to gauge the ebbs and flows of the offseason. I would think by the week of the first game everyone will have convinced themselves we are a 9 or 10 win team. 3 1 Quote Link to comment

LumberJackSker
Nebraska could be bad and still win 6 games and go to bowl game against this schedule. Then the AD is in a tough spot on whether or not you keep Frost. Quote Link to comment

It's 3.75 wins per year. I forgot a year in my calculations. Doh! What's crazy is, in a 12-game stretch between 10/20/18 and 10/5/19, Frost went 8-4. Flip that into a whole season and this fan base would be ecstatic. Quote Link to comment
B.B. Hemingway
A 6-1 start would be amazing, but I'll go with 5-2 through the first 7 games. I think Purdue is going to be pretty decent. I'll go with 7-5, with the ceiling being 9-3, and the floor 4-8. Northwestern - W North Dakota - W Georgia Southern - W Oklahoma - L Indiana - W Rutgers - W Purdue - L Illinois - W Minnesota - L Michigan - L Wisconsin - L Iowa - W 1 Quote Link to comment
MyBloodIsRed16
if schools like Northwestern can have a good year every few years I don't see why Nebraska can't. I just have to think they are due for an 8 win season at least. 1 Quote Link to comment

NebraskaHarry
I'm going with 8 wins for the middle. Could be 6, could be 10. 1 Quote Link to comment
Decked
New QB/system could be heaven or hell Need to see OL Think defense takes step back, O scores more points, special teams is better. 6-7 wins. Quote Link to comment
Cdog923
If they get over 5, it'll be a miracle. 6 Quote Link to comment
Crusader Husker
6-6 Enough to make a bowl, not enough with that schedule to think we are any better. I need 8 wins to feel comfortable that progress happened. Quote Link to comment
