knapplc
You have to give up one of these for life. Which is it? Votes are public so we can have amazing discussions about everyone's choices. 1 Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
Yeah definitely crab legs. I love them but don’t have them now very often so wouldn’t miss them. If it was lobster instead of crab legs, that might be a tougher choice but probably wouldn’t change things. Unfortunately don’t have lobster very often either. 1 Quote Link to comment

RedDenver
I can't believe this is even a debate - it's fried chicken. Fried chicken is good, but there are lots of other ways of preparing chicken that are also good. Not much of a loss to not have chicken fried. Quote Link to comment
DevoHusker
Ribs are the easy answer. So many other parts of the pig/cow that are better, with less effort and waste. 1 Quote Link to comment

So, I have this thing about eating under cooked meat. Yes I know that makes me weird and it’s an unpopular opinion I just can’t bring myself to eat steak if it’s not cooked to a crisp. But when you tell people you want your steak well done you get judged like a puppy killer. So, that’s why I wouldn’t mind if it disappeared. I’ll report to the old saw mill at 12:15. 12 minutes ago, DevoHusker said: Ribs are the easy answer. So many other parts of the pig/cow that are better, with less effort and waste. JJ Husker
So many wrong answers here. Steak, ribs, fried chicken…wrong wrong wrong. Of course if it comes down to well done steak, I’m giving that up too. Medium rare or forget it. 1 Quote Link to comment

Beautiful medium-rare roast. But one friend likes his beef well done. So I got a cast iron pan scorching hot and we stood around watching him sear the hell out of that steak. It had a nice char on it before he was done. Smelled really good. He caught a raft of crap for "ruining" that piece of meat, but I didn't really care. I wasn't eating it - it was his dinner. He can have it any way he wants. Quote Link to comment

If it's about the texture, then cooking it to a crisp is the only way I'm aware of. But if your concern is about germs/bacteria, then I suggest learning about sous vide cooking method where you can cook the crap out of the steak but it'll still be medium-rare. Quote Link to comment
knapplc
By the way - I really like crab legs, but living in one of the most land-locked counties in America, they're way more expensive than steak, chicken or pork. That was an easy decision based on my location. Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
Crab legs was pretty easy. Most of the time they are so small that the work it takes to eat them isn't worth it. Now, I have a local meat market that sells huge ones. Those things are awesome. I can honestly eat about two legs. If they were all like that this decision would be harder. Quote Link to comment
teachercd
Ribs...maybe steak. Crab is amazing Fried Chicken hits two spots...hot and cold. Steak is amazing but once it is cold, it sort of sucks when you heat it up again. Ribs are great but you can pretty much BBQ anything and the seasoning or sauce makes it great. 1 Quote Link to comment
BigRedBuster
One clarification that I think is important. They are only asking about the things listed. So, if you take out ribs, you can still have pulled pork. If you take out crab legs, you can still have other types of crab. If you take out steak, that's all kinds of steak. If you take out fried chicken, that's all kinds of fried chicken. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
